We schedule half-hour appointment slots, Tuesday-Saturday.
*Consignors with currently ongoing accounts may call ahead to arrange a drop off date. Bring your sheet to add on and only 5 items can be looked at per drop off. Please be aware there may be a wait to process your items, and if you have more than 5 items make an appointment.
2. It is a 2 month contract.
It is a 50/50 split and The Clothes Tree decides the selling price.
If an item has not sold after the 1st month, it will be reduced by 25%.
You are responsible to get in touch with us regarding your account. Call us anytime.
You will get a customer number, and a copy of your items listed with prices.
24-hours notice is needed for a payout and pack-up on accounts. Request a payout on your sold items at anytime, give us a call.
Call us by the end (expiry) date on your contract, or within 5 days of expiry and we will pack-up your unsold items and have payment ready.
If we do not hear from you within 5 days of the expiry stated on the contract, your items will automatically be donated to charity. You can also choose to donate your unsold items at the end of the contract.
Payment is kept on file for 6 months past the contract expiry date.
3. Overall Criteria
Men’s and Women’s items are accepted.
Items have to be current in fashion for today. The best resale items are name brand, high quality, unique, high-end, new & gently used.
We are seasonal, this means we only accept items for the current season.
We need at least 5 items to open an account.
You can bring a maximum 25 clothing items per appointment. This is not including accessories like shoes, purses, jewelry, hats, and scarves.
All clothing items must be brought in cleaned, on hangers, in garment bags (protected), and ironed if needed. We return your hangers to you during your appointment.
Check clothing for stains, rips, pulls, or flaws.
We do not accept: vintage, fur coats, wedding dresses, wrinkled clothing, mens suits (and seldomly we accept women’s suits).
Make sure the garments underarms and collars are clean, and that they have not been hemmed/altered.
Must be current in fashion for today.
This includes purses, shoes, jewelry, hats, and scarves.
Check shoes for worn out soles, scuffs and that they are clean inside and out.
Check the bottom of your purses for ware or stains, the inside must be clean and stain free.
Jewelry must be organized when brought in (ziplock bags, small boxes etc.) We accept high quality jewelry, real gold/silver, as well as costume jewelry.
Make sure all stones, gems, rhinestones, or beads, are in place. Check that there are no tarnished or flawed pieces and earrings must be cleaned.

We are a consignment boutique, this means we sell new and gently used clothing, accessories, and footwear. By appointment, we select items and then sell them on your behalf, for a 50/50 split of the selling price. We do not buy items.
